Hi support,

I have tried Reset from console, winbox even reset button. first time it shows no configuration (default configuration) and when i reboot device getting same old test configuration.

Please help .

  1. make sure you are using RouterOS v6rc8

till CCR series
v6.0rc7

where can i download the mystic RC 8?

It is a test version: http://www.mikrotik.com/download/share/routeros-tile-6.0rc8.npk

normis, any major issues with rc8? Keen to put on my production ccr.

With rc7, bonded interfaces keep going down after changes. To get them back up we need to reboot. Has this been reported?

v6.0rc8 will include some fixes for interface state changes. Potentially it should fix your problem.
We will be very glad to receive your feedback.

Just unboxed a new ccr1016

updated it to rc8

began entering basic configs into it: ip addresses, added a bridge, added bgp settings. When applying the bgp peer settings it rebooted. Now its stuck rebooting over and over again.

any ideas?

update: I reset the router (held in the reset button on front) and cleared the config. the router boot up and is staying up with defaults.

update2: I downgraded to rc7. cleared the basic config, added bridge and couple ip’s, added bgp instance. added peer and as soon as I applied the peer settings the router again rebooted and was stuck in a loop. resetting again cleared the issue.

wvvamike, I guess you should post your settings here (at least BGP settings, that makes your router to enter to reboot loop).

Never really finished entering the settings.

Added an AS number in the instance

And setup the BGP peer with:

remote address
AS#
TCP MD5 Key

Once I clicked apply on the peer settings the router rebooted

wvvamike, please send to support (support@mikrotik.com) used commands for BGP and attached support output file after router reboot,

Update about wvvamike post, we have find some issues with MD5 settings (while BGP configuration is applied). We are working on the fix, that will be available at 6.0rc9.
