Regulatory Domains

Hello,

I wonder if there are any perceivable or mentionable differences between setting etsi, etsi1 or etsi2 (and maybe no_country_set and germany if you know that) as a country in wireless interfaces? Is etsi2 just the newest revision of the standard between the three? It’s really difficult for me to find information about the topic if you search for practical answers.

I know that etsi is the default and in production use you have to follow the regulations of your country.

Thanks for your help!

you can use “/interface wireless info country-info” command to give you details:

“Germany” is equal to “etsi” and no_country_set is completely unlimited.
