I have stepped remote syslog server for all our mikrotik devices. I have little bit doughs that, if connection down, what happen to syslog data until connection up
if you store logs on memory they are lost, if you store on disk (ideally USB or SD card) they stay…
This is defined by “action” in the logging menu.
Ideally syslogs are sent to another server who will be run over UPS, so should not have power outages.
