ROMON and Mac-Telnet do not accept the password (wrong password)

Does anyone faced with same problem?

Stable 6.45.3-6.45.7 hardware mikrotik instalation (new router) do not accept my login from ROMON and Mac-Telnet - “wrong password”

In the same time no issue to login via winbox. I have already two devices with same issue

No never seen that…
I would say either you login to a wrong device or your username/password is indeed wrong…

What is the client? There were some changes in authentication, so for example MAC telnet from old RouterOS can’t connect to new one.

He already said its a new router trying to connect to with telent… so to my understanding the client is the router mentioned.

Any chance that the password contains some uncommon characters? RouterOS has troubles with non ASCII things
