I migrated from v6.48 to v7.1.1, all firewall conf keeps same, everything works well except hostspot. Clients can connect to hotspot and access internet at first few minutes, after that, client couldn’t ping gateway although wifi connection wasn’t lost.
This is a know issue at MT, I’m still waiting for them to fix it too

I upgraded to 7.1.2 and still same. And I lost some vlan config so had to restore my backup
exactly same behavior on my side (tested also with ROS 7.2rc3)
I also opened a ticket at mikrotik - no solution till now.

By the way - I disabled hotspot service (so it is a basic router) and everything works fine and stable - so it has to be an issue with the hotspot package.

captive portal is reachable from normal network but not from the one i use for hotspot
… no response from Mikrotik until now! (Ticket is also unanswered for almost 14 days)…

Did they solve the problem? I have the same problem, after a few seconds the PING does not even go to the router. Without HOTSPOT everything is OK. I’ll try it for a few days now and I’ve come across this fiber.
