ROS NTFS file system support

Looks like I can format USB disk drives as EXT4 or FAT32 in Router OS. Ideally, I’d like to have a drive that works with Windows and also supports files > 4GB which is not the case for FAT32. Are there any plans for NTFS support in future ROS versions?

ps: I guess I could mount an EXT4 drive under WSL2 in Windows, but would prefer NTFS for simplicity.

It is probably way easier to read ext4 filesystems from Windows than to implement another filesystem into a small divice.

Replace FAT32 with exFAT then. FAT32 is outdated in all senses. NTFS is proprietary, so Linux implementation is rather buggy and only via FUSE. exFAT is not proprietary, and is in Kernel now (new driver since 5.7).

Agreed! Fat32 was introduced in 1996, can we get a Windows supported filesystem that is from this millennia?
