I’ve recently noticed the SFF-8644 port is connected directly to the PCIE?
I was hoping to be able to connect this somehow to an JBOD to a bunch of 3.5” SATA drives… but I cannot find a single real use for this that I can rack mount.
I’d imagine you could buy a few adapters and connect a few SATA drives but I’d need to buy a bunch of weird parts… and wouldn’t trust it as far as I can throw
Anybody aware of a solution that allows me to plug hard drives into the ROSE via the SFF8644?
