Seeking some advice on a new setup.
Currently I am using an Asus wireless AC 1900 class router and I like to replace it with a non-wireless router plus 2 APs.
I seek your advice on what Mikrotik equipment to get.
I have cable internet with max. 200/20 Mbit/sec. Possibly in future Fiber 200+/200+ Mbit/s.
I like a router with a dual core 1GHz+ CPU, 4-8 Gigabit LAN ports, 1 or more should have POE, and 1 or more USB ports.
I also like 2 AC APs, possibly hAP AC or wAP AC. Possible other suggestions are welcome.
I like to power the APs through POE.
I like to place the router close to my server and NAS, where wireless is not needed.
I probably will need some switches too.
Any advice on set-up and network building, do’s and don’ts etc, etc. are welcome too.
