Dear all, after nearly 4 hours trying to configure a simple trunk link between a microtik cloud switch router and a Microtic router, I would appreciate your wisdom on how to do this ( my know how is in the Cisco realm)
I would like the Microtic router to act as The Gateway for a number of vlans, example vlan 1, vlan 2, vlan 3. The default vlan will be vlan 1 and hence traffic should not be tagged with a IEEE 802.1Q tag on the trunk for that vlan. Port 1 of the router and switch will serve as the uplink interfaces.
The cloud switch router also has a built in WIFI antenna that I would like to assign to vlan 10 and tag it accordingly for transit over the trunk.
Any help is appreciated as I am quite lost. I did read the wiki article regarding router on a stick with switch OS but still this did not work unfortunately.
