Router Recommendation (UK)

Hi,

I was wondering if somebody could recommend one of the Mikrotik Routers that will meet all of my needs listed below. I have a 1GB BT fibre connection to my house, terminating at a Openreach modem.

My requirements are:-

  1. To be able to support the 1Gb connection with no lose of speed.
  2. Must be rack mountable.
  3. Allow port forwarding (use this to access my CCTV).
  4. 2x SFP connections. I have 2 switches and I would like to connect each to the router with a SFP cable. I think this is possible? My thinking is that if one of my switches goes down the other will still be up.

Ah yes, good point about keeping them off the router. I actually have them like that at the moment but for some reason I thought it might be better the other way. Thank you for pointing that out.
