RouterOS on Server HP DL380 G8

Hi All

I have been using RouterOS 5 very successfully on older HP DL180 G6 servers and need to increase capacity so purchased a new HP DL380 G8.

Has anyone managed to install RouterOS 5 on this hardware?

I have tried setting the BIOS SATA mode to legacy, AHCI, RAID and the drive is not detected. I have also tried installing to the internal USB and SD card options and still no drives are recognised.

Why not get a CCR?

Because of numerous problems which makes it unwise to use in serious production enviroment?

The CCR does not support the hardware redundancy I need as well. Dual power feeds etc.

I am also not convinced the CCR will perform better than this server. Almost a thousand queues and a Gb of traffic with firewall.
