Hello guys, this is my first post, and I would like to get introduced to this world by asking you some questions about my doubts.

I do like to create a network with two routers with the last version of the OS and I would like to create also a central control system.

I’m pretty new with the RouterOS, my experience is too short.

  1. Is that possible to create some kind of script to catch the on connect event and send a notification to the central system?
    I.E: user1, MAC, IP connected to router 2

  2. Based on the response from the central system, could the router assign to the user a special profile to the user?

  3. In case this user has X profile, it is possible to redirect all his traffic to a specific website, like a LAN hosted one?

  4. Could the router assign to the user a specific profile for X amount of time?

Bassically the central system will command the router to execute the actions based on the user permissions. I think it could be done by using the router API.

Your question is outside the use case for most of the forum members. That said, seems like the HotSpot feature is what you’re asking about. Would need to be customized, I guess.
