ROUTES menu on ROS 7 device from Mobile App

Hello!

Can’t find how to maintain routes via mobile app on device upgraded to ROS 7.2.1. On v.6 devices it is accessible from Advanced / IP / Routes. But on v.7 I don’t see Routes under IP. Just checked via web interface - Routes is visible there. So must be some bug of Mobile application.

Am I missing smth?

Hmm, you’re not wrong. No (Advanced)>IP>Routes, at least in Apple iOS app. Or IPv6>Routes, for that matter.

Normally the Advanced list does follow winbox/webfig pretty exactly in the past. There is a search under Advanced, and “Route” doesn’t come up:

It does show “nexthop routes” under (Advanced)>Routing>Nexthop. But that actually missing critical details, like the “Gw. Address”. So even that isn’t a substitute.

It is kinda strange, seem like a bug to me. If they “moved it”, sure ain’t obvious.

Did you report this Mikrotik?

I reported that the IOS app was not kept up to date with V7.
Symptom
Good day, many fields are missing from ver7 RoS in the IOS App, the one I am concerned with are Wireguar Peer Allowed IPs. They are not shown and thus unable to confirm or modify. Staff should really review all the settings in the APP as its clear, it has not been audited or reviewed lately.

Response:
Hello,
Thank you for contacting MikroTik Support.
Will be fixed in upcoming releases.
Best regards,

FWIW for Android, just in case somebody is wondering about that platform…

IP/Routes does work as intended.
Wireguard / peers / allowed addresses is also unusable (the field is there but the content is empty).

I mainly use the iOS app when pointing LTE – it has a handy graph of RSRP/RSPQ. But filed a specific bug on IP[v6] Routing being missing (and nexthop being incomplete) in iOS app: SUP-80533.

Guessing @normis has an Android. The Mikrotik iOS app has a lot of minor problems all over the place (slow refresh, missing/wrong drop-down selections, etc). I’ve never trusted the iOS app to make updates – in fact I use a read-only account to make sure it doesn’t mess up anything.

But on iPhone, the app DOES normally let you view all the same stuff as winbox, at least with V6 devices.

Works on Android as well.
Better then winbox even.

Handy when being on top of the ladder and aiming the antenna…

Thanks everybody for confirming that I’m not alone.
Hope these bugs in iOS mobile app for Mikrotik will be fixed. Sometime in the future.
At least ROS 7 is here already.
