RSTP Blocking DHCP?

First for me.

Using the CRS310-8G+2S+IN for the first time.

Have a RB5009 as the main router with the 10G link to the CRS310. There are a stack of existing switches that all seem to have STP turned off.

After some amount of time it looked like the CRS310 stopped passing dhcp request. Rebooted the switch and everything would go back to normal.

I just set the bridge to NONE for STP/RSTP/etc

Unit has been stable for about an hour with devices downstream making DHCP requests without issue.

Anyone seen something like that before?

Crapedge Switches cause the issue upstream.

Had to press the manufacture on it. They copped to it.

If you see Pakedge gear at an install… remove it and move on.

I’ve first seen this issue myself after upgrading to 7.14. Wireless clients could connect to AP but stuck on DHCP. After downgrade to 7.13.5 it was resolved.

Was that on the switch or the router?
