I am using V3.30 and I cannot find the settings to enable/disable RTS CTS

According to this wiki: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Wireless#Frame_protection_support_.28RTS.2FCTS.29, I should be able to enable it with this command:

[admin@MikroTik] /interface wireless> set 0 hw-protection-mode=rts-cts hw-protection-threshold=0

But “hw-protection-mode” doesn’t appear as a configurable setting…Any ideas?

install the wireless-test package.

thanks, do I need to install it on AP and CPE? or just the CPE?

I’d suggest you to install it on both.. you will be amazed of it
edit: You need on client side to enable rts cts, and if you install it on AP and you are using nstreme, you will get an HUGE improvement

wireless-test package replaces regular wireless package. Or if you upgrade to v4.x then you don’t need anything as the wireless-test=wireless in v4.x
