sangoma pci adsl s518 not recognized

I run the 2.8.5 and mikrotik dosen’ show up the sangoma board into the interface menu.

Is it supported into this release?

Thanks

upgrade to the latest RouterOS version and make sure you have synchronous package installed.

Edgars

I upgraded to 2.8.16, loaded the sync package.

But nothing done, still not sangoma into the interface list.

If, using terminal, I go into interface/sangoma, it doesn’t show me nothing, nothing to enable.

Any help?

thanks

Are you sure your license is allowing for synchronous interfaces? You need at least a level 4 license for that…

you got it! I have to upgarde!

Thanks

after the upgrade the MT see the board.

But it is not enable. If I try to enable it (from wnbox and terminal) I get the error:

setting FLAGS faild!

no way to enable it…

other help???

Thanks

Sorry, I’ve got not experience with this board. I think this would be the right time to write to support@mikrotik.com

and at the end it works ?
with the 2.8 ??

Hope it supports pppoe since I haveto use it with TELEFONICA DE ESPANA …

any experience with all that?

no they ARE NOT SUPPORTED AT ALL

I bougt two of them. And they Don’t work.

The support is telling me that the driver are foulty and they don’t have “one” card to test in real life!!!

ha ha ha ha

What Mikrotik does???
I’m very nervous

I don’t like it

why they say it works if it don’t

what support did tell you ?
any answer on it?

they simply don’t know

we added support for this card, but found that there were files missing. we will contact the makers of the card and fix the support in upcoming versions.

how do you see it timewise ?

how do you add SUPPORT,

without testing it???

I think you should change your policy to annunce support without any test!

thsi was only a test release for testing. it is not in the official driver list, so it was not officially announced as supported. as i already wrote we are working on a fix.

When will this fix ready?

Nenad told me that the lite wanpipe driver you use are very stable in linux.

so, when will it be available?

sangoma has not responed to mikrotik’s emails - if you are interested, you can write them directly about this.

contact directly Alex, it is very responsive:
