I have set up VRRP for 2 Microtik. Everything was fine. But when the configuration was connected to the switch, a storm started. According to the switch logs, I realized that the same mac address was coming from both microphones.
I checked the devices and found out that the mac address on the Bridge interfaces of both Microtics have an identical mac address.
Can someone tell if this behavior is normal?
Hi,
Check what MAC's are assigned to both bridges? Are they really different or mayby you did mistake?
P.S
you should correct the microphone bias

Oh I use translator)
Both Mikrotiks have identical MAC addresses.
I reset the router settings programmatically and set it up again, but the mac address remained the same again.
Then I rolled back the routers to 7.20.8, set up the routers again and it helped.
Now the Bridge interfaces have different mac addresses. But I would like to understand the reasons.
Current RouterOS - 7.20.8

Did you restore binary configuration on both? If yes, then it was the mistake.
Maybe you applied the same script on both devices. If there is a direct mac seting for a bridge, then it was a mistake as that mac overwrites any real mac.
- The configurations for both routers were created separately. The configurations do not explicitly specify the MAC address for the Bridge.
- I performed a hard reset before setup.
In version 7.21.2, after setup, the MAC addresses were the same.
In version 7.20.8, after setup, the MAC addresses were generated differently.
