Simple Queue question

I want to better understand simple queuing.

We purchased the Microtik RouterBOARD and are currently using it successfully for bandwidth management in transparent mode.>

Let’s say we have upgraded our internet bandwidth from a 25 Mbps circuit to a 100 Mbps circuit. If we create a simple queue that defaults the queue’s bandwidth to, say 10 Mbps, does that mean if there are 100 simultaneous connections, each connection will theoretically get 10 Mbps?

The above makes sense, but what happens with additional connections? For instance, I think I understand that the 101st and subsequent users will now lower the speed available in the queue to something less than 10 for each user. Is this understanding correct?
