Hi, I am experiencing an issue with my CRS354-48G-4S+2Q+RM. On the Ethernet ports, using speedtest from my Windows PC’s, I am only getting 10 mbps download, but over 900 mbps upload. At first I thought it was a cable issue, but I have tried different cables and different PC’s and they all exhibit the same issue. The ports are set to auto negotiate and show up as 1000 mbps on Windows. Any suggestions on how I can resolve this?
How exactly is conection between test machines? Any chance that download gets “shrinked” from 10Gbps link (or anything faster than 1Gbps) to 1Gbps “last meter” link?
When linkspeed changes towards slower, it’s hard for that node (e.g. ethernet switch) to handle it … usually there’s buffer overflow causing dropped frames which in turn is devastating for throughput of TCP connections.
Maybe you have some information on your network? You get 10/900 torwards internet? Another device on LAN? Connect directly to your router (as this is a switch)gives you what speed?
Hi, the Windows PC is directly connected to the switch via Cat 5e cable. The 10G SPF+ ports are working fine. It’s only the 1G ports that are having this issue.
