sntp feature is not implemented - after downgrade 6.9 to 6.7

Hi

RB2011 routerOS downgraded from 6.9 to 6.7

now when I try and add an NTP ip address into SYSTEM/ SNTP CLIENT I get the message ‘Couldn’t change SNTP Client - feature is not implemented (2)’

an internet search suggested the package is missing but I downloaded all_packages-mipsbe-6.7.zip uploaded the npk files to the router, ran the downgrade successfully and then did a factory reset to clear the config that was still present. I can see ntp-6.7-mipsbe.npk was in the original file list.

my SYSTEM / SERVICE LIST does not show ntp but
I can see ntp listed if I type system package print

interestingly I can set it via the terminal using /system ntp client
so it is now working , but if I access it from the GUI Webfig 6.7 it triggers the error message

I am wondering if this is related to what pcunite has suggested in a recent post that maybe the GUI itself is the cause of a lot of issues rather than the the routerOS itself.
