Sort the order of bridge ports

Am I wrong, or shouldn’t it be possible to sort the order of bridge ports with this command:

> interface bridge port move 13 7

or

> interface bridge port move numbers=13 destination=7

Shouldn’t above command move “13 I UX1-02” up and below “7 I UX1-01” ?

[xxx] > interface bridge port print
Flags: X - disabled, I - inactive, D - dynamic, H - hw-offload

INTERFACE BRIDGE

0 H sfp-sfpplus1 bridge
1 I H sfp-sfpplus2 bridge
2 H sfp-sfpplus3 bridge
3 XI sfp-sfpplus4 bridge
4 H 1AB-A bridge
5 H 1AB-D bridge
6 H 1AB-F bridge
7 I UX1-01 bridge
8 H 1A-poe bridge
9 H Uplink-nat1 bridge
10 H ether20 bridge
11 I H ether19 bridge
12 I H ether18 bridge
13 I UX1-02 bridge

I think moving elements that way is only supported in places where the order of items actually has a meaning.
In places where it is just a list of items, the order is determined by RouterOS (usually just the sequence in which they are added) and cannot be changed.
This also reflects in the /export command output.
Sometimes indeed you would want to sort things, but it cannot be done except by cleaning out everything and re-importing it in the sequence you like.

You are probably right, but in the manual it actually states that it is possible, and the command is there to use, but just does nothing.

Manual (search for move): https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Interface/Bridge#VLAN_Example_.231_.28Trunk_and_Access_Ports.29

I tried it in winbox and at first it appears to support moving but when you actually do it, it moves and then jumps back to where it was.
So that is the same thing as what you are seeing.

I tried that to. I’ll ask Mikrotik support if they have an explanation. I’ll post their answer here. Thanks for responding.
