Static PPTP Interface

I am trying to find in the wiki how to create a static PPTP interface, but can not find it.

Any one knows how to?

This worked for me. I’m still testing it.

Insure to let the client ip through your pptp server firewall.

Well, that would still create a dynamic pptp interface, right?

Maybe you should be more specific about your requirements. It is dynamic, but you can limit the connection with the pptp server firewall.

It is simple.

Just normally create dynamic one and after establishing connection double click onto dynamic interface - name will be something like → then select “copy” and rename new (static) interface to same name “pptp-in1”.

After disconnect pptp link you will have static one and now you can use its name in firewall rules…
