Maybe use the NUT (Network UPS Tools) package?
It is essential especially in third world countries where one cannot depend on power.
We are having this issue in South Africa.
Thank You

Have been experiencing more and more of my units getting “didly” because of lack of this feature.
Seems after enough incorrect shutdowns , boards seem to do the weirdest things!
Ive just had one where the ENTIRE firewall component didn’t work anymore.
Doesn’t make sense, but hey upgrading and downgrading did nothing nor did resetting config.
A downgrade to 2.9.x reset config and upgrade back fixed this but is becoming a headache as other issues are creaping in here and there because of our power issues here.
MT please pimp my RouterOS African Style?
I would really like to see support for UPS triggering via SNMP traps to the Routerboard. This way a single UPS supporting multiple routerboards on a tower could easily shut them down. Support for a greater range e.g. Eaton PowerWare (which is what HP use) would also be great.
These are the type of enterprise features one requires when running an enterprise network.
And will separate the WISP-out-of-my-basement from the professionals.
I really do hope this is looked at soon!
