SXT 5sa Not able to reach the local default gateway (192.168.0.100)

I am not able to reach the default gateway (192.168.0.100). All the other devices on the same LAN and subnet are reachable using PING from Winbox terminal except 192.168.0.100. All the wireless clients can access the Internet through the SXT. As a side consequence unable to check MT updates on the SXT unit.
Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

I have even tried with disabled all FW filter DROP rules just in case . Changed the interface list member in various combinations. It is obvious that I am lacking some basic understanding when MT SXT is in bridge mode. Do not wish to use Router mode and NAT if possible. I would be very grateful for some help. I have attached a primitive network diagram and config.
Many thanks.

What’s the idea behind static ARP entries? Perhaps you have wrong MAC address for 192.168.0.100 there? And why do you have them at all?

Yeah, static arp entries, remove them all and let arp do its thing. Clear firewall, if it is bridged, what is the point of having rules for the forwarding chain?

Try mac-ping to mac of the gateway if it’s a mikrotik. Clear static entries on the gateway if you have any.

A thousand thanks to Sob and Kanta for solving this problem. Cleared the FW and removed the static ARP of 192.168.0.100
I have no idea where these static ARPs came from. Perhaps remnants of an old config. Can’t believe it… (-; :open_mouth:
