Well, i had bad wifi covering in my living room, so i installed a microtik Lite attached to a LAN cable.
So network looks like this:
ISP-router + Synology NAS
-ISP-router - LAN-cable - Microtek
The microtik delivers WLAN and has 3 AV-devices attached to the ethernet-ports.
But i can’t acces the Synology NAS because it’s not attached to the microtik. Is there a simple work around?
The right question would have been, which wifi device should I purchase.
My answer would not have been MT.
Nonetheless, what do you mean?
If both the NAS and MT are connected to the ISP router then you are connected??
Diagram please and also the config on the MT

@Jerre: you should set up hAP lite as access point / switch. Unfortunately there isn’t a predefined template for that (a QuickSet setting), so you’ll have to do it manually. It’s not a trivial task, but if you feel you’re up to it, we can list you the necessary steps. Or find a post with steps already listed, I’m sure thete are a few, I just don’t know which search terms to put in search engines to get those results on the top of list.
