ok, simple question here.. When doing a /system backup does this save the MT Licensing information into the backup? or could that backup be used as an “image” to duplicate multiple installations on routers already setup with their own licenses?
It doesn’t save the license as best I can tell, you need to deal with that seperatly.
note that if interfaces differ (for example) between different MT boxes, you’ll have to reconfigure these after applying the backups…
Sadly, there is no way to copy the configuration of one router onto another. The backup will only work properly on the same hardware.
