Terminal authenticate

hi all

I have CHR (v7.20.2) installed and everything works fine — there’s just one issue.
Whenever I open a new-terminal, it asks me to authenticate again.
Is there a way to skip this step since I’m already logged in with my username and password?

What kind of terminal? Inside winbox? ssh connection?

just click new-terminal from winbox

This happens when you first login using WinBox to the router while it didn't require a password. Then you set a password/change the password. While you are in the same session if you open Terminal you will be asked for the new password. You'll have to log out with WinBox first, then re-login with the new password. Once that's done, Terminal will no longer prompt for login.

With the upgrade to 7.20.4 your WinBox has been disconnected from the router, and a new login session (with the new password) was performed. That's why the issue is "fixed".
