The Dude 4.0beta2 Cannot resolve address

I downloaded the beta and installed over my existing 3.6 and unchecked to reset my configuration. When I started 4.0beta2, it was asking me to connect to the server. It won’t connect no matter what server, user name, or password I enter. Keeps saying Cannot resolve address. So I reinstalled 4.0beta2 and this time indicated to reset the configuration. Same thing.

3.6 worked perfectly fine, had no problem with logging in or being prompted for a password. Any idea why it won’t connect?

did you use a DNS name in the address field? did you try an IP address?

Thanks - I hadn’t thought of putting my own IP address, but that worked. Thank you!
