Mikrotik CCR1036-8G-2S+ router are using for our office network.
We also use The Dude Server in mikrotik router and version is v6.35.
Previous version is v6.34.
But when I trying to open The Dude Client from my PC following message have showed.
Do you want to update to version v6.35?
When I click to “Yes” Button following error message have showed.
dude.exe: cannot copy file
Please provide us a solution for above problem that will be a great help for us.
This is a Windows problem (recent versions). You can not write to system folders even with a user who have full rights. You have to right click on dude.exe and ‘Start as Administrator’ then the upgrade process will complete.

Yes, I have same problem. I usuly just go to Mikrotik.com download page and download the correct version client directly from webpage, then install it manually.

Hi! Even if “run as administrator” the result is “bad http response from cloud”. The only way is to uninstall current version, download and install needed version from mikrotik.com!
…but I’m very disappointed this time! The only available version for dude client, on mikrotik website is 6.39.3 (Bugfix only)!!! Need to downgrade my dude server!!!
