The Dude on RB2011UAS-RM & RB751U-2HD

Has anyone succeed in doing so without any problems?
Mikrotik Staff can you verify that whether the dude is or is NOT designed to work on these two models?

Here is what I have tried:
I have tried installing the dude package 3.6 and 4.0 beta 3 into these two routers with ROS6.1
I put mipsbe version to both routers as they are both mipsbe architecture.
Both can install after reboot and work for a while.
Then they start to fail and fall into reboot loop immediately after I started the device discovery scan with a “the dude” client.

Then the whole ROS crashes and cannot use Winbox, SSH or WebFig to login to manage any settings.
I need to use netinstall to reinstall the whole OS before I can use the management interface again.

I know RB2011UAS-RM and RB751U-2HD are not stated explicitly in the support list, but I really want to know an exact answer whether this is designed NOT to work or if some problem is happening on the routers.

Thanks in advance.

I got exactly the same issue like You describe above. I can only add 2011UAS-2HnD-IN and 951G-2HnD to your list.

I wouldn’t use Dude package at all on routerboards. Instead I would use it on a Windows machine. What I noticed is that router can hang, have 100% CPU or just stops working with Dude package installed. With minimum Dude config.

I’ve tested on RD2011UAS-2HnD both
Dude 3.6
Dude 4.0 beta 3

From clean config (version 6.5)
Install Dude on routeros
Reboot - no lockups
Connect to dude on routeros
Add single item: ping google.com
Reboot - Boot loop

Not sure why they have routeros packages if they don’t work

Did you test export configuration on RB’s? I bet it will lock up.

I was just testing an empty the dude configuration.
Creating a single ping item manually.

For troubleshooting I wanted to eliminate the possibility of it locking from a complex config.
