First post so thanks to all who respond.
We are having a very odd issue with speeds through a CCR1036. OS 6.36 Stable. We have a BGP meshed network running OSPF between the routers and BGP between local internet providers and “International Providers”.
Our speeds to local providers is perfect and we get speeds of just under 1Gbps for incoming and around 800Mbps for outgoing from our network.
For International providers we only have 300Mbps and get the incoming speeds fine but outgoing is where the problem is.
If I plug my macbook into the router, I do not get more the 50Mbps on an iPerf test outgoing. A windows server also 50Mbps and not more. We have an ubuntu server we test with and we get close to 200Mbps outgoing. What is the difference that the ubuntu server would always get better performance and I cannot get more than 50Mbps through the Macbook and Server.
I have played with MTU’s L2 and L3 but no difference. Am I missing something?
