Same problem.
I read on Wiki and Forum here, bought TP-Link TL-WN722N and RB751U-2HnD, spent money for something that is not working for me now.

As and old and faithful Mikrotik user I would appreciate if someone can answer.

Idea was to have small soho route which I can use to extend signal in hotels when I go to vacation with my family.
If you can’t do this, please make RN with 2 wifi interfaces, 1 stronger, 1 weaker/cheaper, I am sure many will buy it.

Anyway, till then, can someone be precise and write here what is the version on which will 722N works ( I read on forum it works on 5.26, but for me it doesn’t (I tried 5.16, 6.0, 6.0rc6, 6.0rc9 and of course latest stable 6.35.2)

We are sorry but we removed usb wifi support in RouterOS v6 because of instability issue.

You can use wireless-rep and repeater function now http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Interface/Wireless#Repeater

Why would you want to connect the TL-WN722N? for increased range?

The repeater function should work with WLAN’s/master’s that’s non-Mikrotik/RouterBoard?

I have the same problem, the tp-link repeater does not work for mikrotik …

(OmniTik in AP bridge mode) —> (Repeater Tp-Link) —> (Laptop Client)

Normal dhcp enters the ip addresses in the laptop, but it does not give me internet and it does not ping the mikrotik …

it may not be compatible, all are of 2.4GHz frequency.
