Two routers and a samba

Hello everyone. The topology of the home network is as follows: The main router with internet access is a 4011, and the second router (AX3) is connected via twisted pair to enhance the 5Ghz wifi in the far room, and it also has a samba file server. I've tried various methods to configure the network for internet distribution. However, SMB is not visible from the main router (4011). Yes, the main router is 192.168.0.1, and the second one is 192.168.1.1. I couldn't find any information about how to connect the microts to the samba network on the internet. When I use the AX3 as the only router in my home network, the samba network works. Please provide me with some configuration options. How can I share Samba from the second router in my home network to the devices on the first router?

Hi,
Different IP subnets. Where is the routing done?

Could you revisit this please? Something to understand, really understand, when you deal with routers, but it is true for every network machine is this:

Routers and network machines in general do not have IP addresses. It is interfaces on those machines which have the IP addresses

This is particularly important when talking about routers, because they will have more than 1 IP address in play

So please clarify what addresses are where.

The simplest configuration would be to configure the AX3 (hap ax3?) as an access point, and not as a router. Then everything would be in the same network provided by the LAN side of the RB4011, and the hap ax3 would just be acting as a wifi access point with 4 available ethernet ports configured as a "switch".

If you want more help, you are going to need to provide more information.

Please provide a network diagram (even a photo of a hand drawn sketch) with how things are connected, the ports being used to connect on the RB4011 and the hap ax3. Also provide exports of the two routers.

Thank you all. I've decided. 192.168.1.1/24 is not in the 192.168.0.0/24 network. I've set the address to 192.168.0.100/24 on the bridge.

The title sounds like the start of a good joke.

Two routers and a samba walk into a bar…!

I'm not without humor either))) I'll continue to scale the network. There will be 4 routers and a samba. I think the samba will definitely come to my home bar, and maybe even one of the routers!)))
