Tx Signal

Hello,
What different between Rx dan Tx signal, also why Tx signal always 0?

Rx Signal is signal strength of the link partner, measured by receiver. CLI provides detailed information per Rx chain (if MIMO is in use). The wifiwave2 driver doesn’t seem to support the detailed information and only reports single signal value.
In your table, it’s signal strength for all stations as received by AP, each station listed separately.

If the wireless connection between AP and station is such that it provides verbose feedback (e.g. nstreme or nv2), then link peer may report back Rx Signal and then it’s shown as “Tx Signal”. If link peer doesn’t report the value (or the wireless protocol doesn’t allow reporting), then the value is obviously not available. Wifiwave2 driver doesn’t support any other wireless protocol than 802.11 and thus never reports Tx signal.

BTW, Tx signal is not the same as Tx power … Tx signal is more or less similar to Rx signal (values in range between -40 and -90) … while Tx power is much higher, values are usually around +15.

Hello

So, RX signal is signal strength received by AP and TX Signal is signal strength received by client? On the wireless client we can see bar count on the wifi icon and if we see on router board side this is rx or tx?

Bar count on wireless client should correspond to Tx signal reported by AP.
