Would anybody be really annoyed if there was a firmware that you could flash onto a Ubiquiti device that made it look more like Mikrotik’s Winbox interface, along with some of the extra features you get with Mikrotik ?
Just that it’d be simpler if the engineers only had to learn 1 interface, and it would also add some useful Features to the cheaper kit.
Nobody panic at this stage - i stopped working on it way back when UBNT managed to screw up their RouterStation ‘Challenge’.
That was a real shame, as the board is really quite good.
(Note to MT people : Add a few Script controllable GPIO ports to new routerboards.)
Just wondered if it would have been useful to anybody, or if they would have bought something like that.
