Hi there,
I unable to connect any devices through my secondary repeater to my HAP AC² router. This issue started after update v6.47beta60 to current 6.47rc2. Everything was working perfectly in 6.46.6 to older.
TPLink repeater config: Static IP + DHCP disable. So Mikrotik servers IP addresses to all devices.
I tried every single way: Dynamic IP + DHCP enable | Static IP + DHCP Enable.
I only able to connect with my repeater If DHCP enable (but no internet), otherwise all device in a loop [Obtaining IP address → failed ] and Mikrotik shows offering.
How can I fix this issue?
Just a reminder: you are using beta software / release candidate…
So, don’t be surprised of bugs, expect them ![]()
A problem that comes and goes? DHCP over a “universal repeater/pseudo bridge/transparant bridge/ L2.5 bridge” that fails to make the last step in the process ‘offer->bound’.
With Mikrotik, but also others (https://supportcommunity.adtran.com/t5/Elite-On-Premises-Wi-Fi-Software/BSAP-do-not-pass-through-DHCP-OFFER-to-WiFi-bridge-client/td-p/21378) with exact the same problem.
