unable to ping an IP address in the same Lan

Hi,
I’ve an access point linked to my RB5009. I 've an 192.168.1.0 network with gateway address as 192.168.1.2

The access point has a static address (192.168.1.1)

I’m able to go on internet trough the AP but I’m not able to ping its address. ..

Please could you help me to do that ?

Hello, can we have more information ?
1 - The network is set on the RB and the AP is “dumb” and work only as bridge ?
2 - What is the ip of the RB in your set up ?
3 - From what you can’t ping ? PC to AP or RB to AP or both ?

Hi,

  1. yes, RB has DHCP server too.
  2. 192.168.1.2
  3. PC to AP

If you ping 192.168.1.2 from the PC it work ?
Can you try giving another IP to the AP (something like 192.168.1.5 or another in the range of 192.168.1.3-254) and try the ping again ?

edit: the pc receive a IP by the DHCP in the same network as the AP ?

Pc obviously ping to the rb , i’ll try to change AP ip address but i’m sure there is something to doa about static route.
i’ m newbie about advanced network config .
