Upload Speed Very Low through the Router

I have a Mikrotik RB750L Router with a 1Mbps wireless point to point connection from my ISP. For some reason the uploads when using the router are super slow while downloads are not affected.

When connected directly to the WAN Cable, the speeds are fine.. so it’s definitely an issue with the Router. I tested with different cables, I disabled the FW, QoS was not set up, and whatever else that I have read about in various online forums.

I’m at a loss.. what could be the problem??

I have an RB750 with all-default configuration (MT was hard reset)

Just configured interface addresses, DNS, DHCP, SNTP, Route. All other config are default (firewall)

MT is connected to a 30/30 MBPS symetrical line. Download is only 20mbps and upload 3 ~ 5 mbps only.
