Uptime limit and signup generated user

I am working at a scenario where the users could sign up for the service (e.g. by paying with Paypal) and the User Manager generates login and password on the fly.
How can I specify an uptime limit in this condition?
I mean, I need to let the user signup automatically for a profile like :
1 hour of hotspot usage to be used in 24 hours from first login or
3 hours of hotspot usage, to be used in 7 days.
I know that I can do it manually or even for batch users, using the combination of uptime and credit, but how can I achieve this for automatically generated users?

You can setup credits and specify available time,
here you can read more,
http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/User_Manager/Limiting

User uses signup and can select, which plan to select 1 hour, 3 hour etc.
And accordingly how much client is going to pay.

how can u give a specific uptime for a user which is signing up and paying by paypal ? all i can do is to specify the credit time, but no uptime. in that case a user has to use all his online time at once and cant decide to logout without loosing his time.

any ideas ?

Thanks Sergejs,
I was already using credits, the problem that I am trying to solve is:
profile 1
1 hour of uptime - credit available for 24 h after the first login
profile 2
3 hours of uptime - credit available for 3 days from first login
profile 3
10 hours of uptime - credit available for 10 days after the first login

So I set up 24h, 3d and 10d credits, but I can’t see how to force the UPTIME limit for the paypal generated user.

snoozer, currently it’s not possible, but we are working on it.

okay, thanks for that !

hi sergejs,

is there any update on this ?

will it be possible to specify the uptime, speed or volume ? it would be nice for a volume based product or uptime based product. i am not only thinking of hotspot here. more a general idea how customers which have exceeded their limit of time or volume can easy just buy more time or volume. or a customer which is by default a 1mbit/s customer could possibly by 2mbit/s for a period of time.

any input from MT would be welcome because it is effecting current product development on our side.

regards
Jan

We are working on radius incoming, that will allow to achieve

1mbit/s customer could possibly by 2mbit/s for a period of time.
