It looks like the “USB over IP” belongs here…
So… is it in beta 2?
If so, where ?? I cant locate it under winbox or the “CLI”…
I have a REAL use for it in a VMware / VDI remote office deploy.
I can easily see it in the CLI on mine:

Im sure it something I am doing… but…
No documentation, and no help at all from Mikrotik yet. Very frusterating! They put this feature in the 5.15 changelog, then they say oops, now its in the 6.x changelog, but no description or docs available at all.
in short - set up server side on the rotuer and client side on your PC, set up forwarding.
We will make documentation when feature can be used. Currently it’s not actually working yet.
where can we get the client?

From what I have seen, there are two “types” one that uses bus IDs and antother that uses names..
As the feature isnt active yet… I cant say for sure which will work…

There is an issue with usb over tcp, it does not function at 6.0beta2 properly. It will be fixed in the next beta version.

at the moment this is removed from RouterOS due to instabilities in the code from the original project. Lets see in the future how project will evolve, then it could be added back.
