Hi,
No answer …
Or witch dual band WIFI AP (AC) do you recommend for home usage with a 1Go ethernet Interface to connect witch my RB3011 ?
Probably there is no answer for that except than usb wifi adapters are not officially supported. May happen that some atheros chips might work but no one does that. Rather buy appropriate device if you need WiFi.
Buy a Teltonika modem. That is a real UMTS / LTE modem, with a LAN output. it runs on Luci.
It even has OSPF, MPLS etc…
As far as I know, some usb wifi adapters worked only in now very old RouterOS (5.?), and not even very well. So now there’s no support for any. I liked the idea myself, but it probably doesn’t make sense for MikroTik (too many different devices to support, not so many people who would want to use it).
Thanks for all your anwsers, i will think about it.
I think, i will go for a MikroTik cAP ac.
