Using OSPF on multi link inter building lan

I would like some suggestions on the route to follow on this evolving network to see best result. The client started off with one, then two, …links and now wants to run VOIP over the wireless. I am using RB433’s for ethernet to wireless in routing mode at this stage. The client has seven sites of which four sites are connected in a ring and the other three each connecting to one another and two of the ring sites respectively. I will be using RB450’s to connect all the RB433’s at each site so one gateway exist on each site and also use OSPF to sort out the routing. Is this the right approach? Must the RB433’s also be setup for OSPF or should they (RB433) be setup for bridging instead? If the RB433’s are setup for bridging, I must use WDS which will half my throughput??

If I am posting this in the wrong section, please let me know!!

Paint a picture for me. But “Yes” and “Yes”.

Hi Dallas, Thanks for answering. I’ve since learned that I can use EOIP over the point to point wireless links and I therefore presume that I would be able to run OSPF between the RB450’s that link directly to the RB433’s. My goal is to build a multi path network for inter-building LAN connectivity that will eventually run normal data plus VOIP for the phone system. Should you want more info such as drawings, I would be glad to post them to you in private.

Email me the drawings and I will let you know if I would do anything different.
