V7.22.1 [stable] is released!

Apple IOS Devices Fail to Connect to WiFi after Editing or Creating Wifi Interface or Configuration in Winbox - CLI is OK.

I think this is the same issue others have been talking about in this thread but others haven't figured out the cause or a remedy.

I've logged Support Ticket SUP-214024 about this.

There is an issue with Apple IOS devices connecting to Wifi on 7.22.1 if the Wifi Interface or Configuration is edited in Winbox.

If the interface or Configuration is edited in Winbox, even if the interworking settings are not touched by the user, the value interworking.realms-raw="" is added to the interface or configuration.

If you make changes via CLI this does not happen.

With the value interworking.realms-raw="" set on a Wifi Interface or Configuration, Apple IOS devices cannot connect.

The way to resolve this is as follows....
For Configuration or Virtual Interfaces - delete the configuration or virtual interface and then recreate it using the CLI and not WinBox.
For physical interfaces - I cannot find any way of removing the interworking.realms-raw="" value so the only method seems to be resetting the configuration on the router.

Note that the above was observed on a HAP AX'2 but I think this issue is not limited to that hardware.

Thanks,
Jonathan.
