I don’t want to sound ungrateful, I’m actually happy that something is happening, but these DNS changes are hit and miss. There should be first some solid plan how it should all work, how to make it flexible enough to cover all use cases, and how to get rid of existing inconsistencies (FWDs not working with DoH is well-known for years, but it’s not only that, see e.g. first half of this post).
