vendor-tag circuit-id service equivalent

Hello,

Is there an equivalent setting in MT like Cisco ?
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_2sb/feature/guide/sbecidtg.html

We are having an issue with a vendor forwarding pppoe packets over a vlan to us.
We use MT pppoe server and MT client. (latest 4.x).

Vendor in-between uses a cisco.
As soon as they disable Vendor Specific Tags, our customers can connect.

Has anyone had this issue ?

I haven’t used a pppoe setup yet, but I searched in vain for a way to use circuit-id to select dhcp pools on the MikroTik and gave up. It appears that the MikroTik does not support option 82. I was using a Cisco SOHO router that supported dhcp-class (circuit-id) before replacing it with the MikroTik. My solution was to allow each router I was using to manage it’s own dhcp pool until I get a radius or central dhcp server.

I have filled a long time feature request to implement Option 82 for PPPoE server and it confirmed by mikrotik staff . but no news yet . it is very useful .
the feature request located at http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/MikroTik_RouterOS/Feature_Requests just search for “PPPoE Options just like DHCP Options” to find it .
