Hi all — I'm the developer, a solo project from Brno.
Vigila is an iPhone + Apple Watch app that monitors RouterOS devices and pushes an alert when something breaks, including when the app is closed.
What it watches. Free: an interface going down (your WAN by default, any other you pick), a router that stops answering, Netwatch hosts. Pro adds sustained CPU, temperature, low memory, reboots, stale WireGuard handshakes and a drop in active PPPoE sessions (for concentrators). Debounce and flap suppression, quiet hours that critical alerts break through, acknowledge from the phone or the Watch.
How it works. A small relay you run yourself (Docker, or a plain JAR on JRE 21) polls your routers over the REST API (v7.1+) or the API (v6.45+, TLS on 8729). When a rule fires it encrypts the alert end to end (X25519 + ChaCha20-Poly1305) and hands it to a push gateway I run in the EU, which only ever sees ciphertext. Nothing is installed on the routers; router credentials stay in the iOS Keychain or on your relay; certificates are pinned on first use. Control is limited to enabling/disabling an interface, off by default and behind Face ID. No account, no analytics.
Honest limits. If the relay sits behind the very uplink that fails, the alert is queued and delivered the moment the link is back — for an instant WAN alert, run the relay where it has another path out (at HQ watching branch sites, or on a box with an LTE backup). If the relay's whole site goes dark, nothing inside can report it; pair it with an external uptime check. And if Netwatch plus a Telegram script already covers you, keep it — this is for people who want it without scripts on every router, with a dashboard on the phone and the Watch.
What I'm asking. People running real RouterOS hardware who will set up the relay and tell me whether alerts arrive on time with the app closed — and what is missing or annoying.

After release: free for two routers, a one-time Pro purchase above that (no subscription). Active testers who send feedback get a promo code for Pro at release. iPhone only for now, alert texts in English. Happy to answer anything technical here.
