Dear Group,
I’ve been trying to configure my Router (2011UiAS 6.49.10) to implement the following architecture:
- I have an Access Point with 2 SSIDs (each works for separate VLANs (VLAN1 and VLAN2))
- This AP is connected to the Router interface
- Local Network (wired) is using bridge interface (default).
This, for now, is working fine.
Now I need to configure one router interface to work in VLAN1 (dedicated for wireless devices).
I tried multiple switch and bridge configurations, but I wasn’t able to achieve that goal.
Can switch add the VLAN id to the frames coming from the device connected to selected port to have them correctly directed to the vlan interfaces and the rest of the network?
I have one bridge for all physical interfaces and two VLANs for SSIDs. Each network (wired and VLANs) has its own DHCP server.
Thanks for any hint.
