vlan over vlan

Hi all,

First sorry for this question, but in general vlan topic is to complicated for me and only understood some basic like tagged and untagged vlan and i know that i can send multiple vlans over the specific port and resolve them for the other.
But let`s go to the final point, is it possible to sent over vlan different vlans ?
for example i would like to pass over vlan10 - vlan838,840,35
and through vlan20 - normal LAN

Is it possible to achieve for Mikrotik ?
Where i can start to understood the topic, find some examples like those above ?

Thanks and cheers :slight_smile:

If i remember right it is called QinQ

https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Interface/VLAN#Q-in-Q

Also nice article for VLANs:

Basically the real question is what are your requirements. From that it will be clear what kind of vlan setup and config is required.
Hypotheticals are not that interesting unless backed up by requirements.

@anav is it called Q in Q ? Do i remember correct ?

Yes, I have never used it but read up on it once. Its a very niche specific case and would have to research its use case
