Hi,
How would you setup 3 simple Vlans like this?
Just 1 RouterOs
1 single Vlan per eth port.
All of them must have internet connection, via WAN (eth10)
VLANS Untagged

Thanks,

Do you want the vlans tagged or untagged?
Untagged ![]()
Why are you wanting to use vlans? I would just assign the addressing right to the interfaces.
There are many reasons:
I just need to understand the VLAN basic Setup.
I am a quick learner, so if you help me with this, then i will setup almost all VLANS in x situations.

It is a router, not a switch, if u need untagged, just add address directly to Ethernet port. An untagged port is just that - not tagged with any VLAN ID.
On a switch you typically have any number tagged and or untagged ports on the same VLAN - a router strips off the VLAN tag on the port inbound and adds it outbound.
If you are plugging it into a switch that is accepting tagged VLANs, just add a VLAN to the router interface. If the switch port is accepting untagged VLANs, just plug it in.
Thanks, i understand now… I tested with a Vlan enabled Netgear. And it Works ![]()
