Hi,
I have a situation where an RB2011UiAS-RM under ROS 6.30 reboots when under high traffic or high load. Is there a way to disable the watchdog reboot feature?
For example, this router has 2 IPsec site-to-site tunnels, as well as a PPTP tunnel to 2 other locations. If I initiate a mikrotik bandwidth test from a remote location through the VPN to this particular site, even something low such as bidirectional 5mbps on a 20/12mbps connection, the router will instantly reboot and the log will report the router was rebooted by the watchdog timer.
Same thing happens no matter if I do the Mikrotik bandwidth test from a remote site through either the IPsec or PPTP tunnels, or even just directly to the router using the public internet IP (not routing the traffic through a VPN).
The router will also crash after a few seconds if I do an iperf bandwidth test from a PC at a remote location to another iperf node at this location through either the IPsec or PPTP VPN.
The router does not have many firewall rules beyond the default Mikrotik firewall rules (default rules with the default drop on WAN rule disabled)
